There has been a lot of talk about the Delta Wing Project. This is a conceptual car that may be the future of Indy Car racing. At this point there is not sufficient information about the project for me to have an opinion of the chassis. The Indy Racing League (IRL) have made it clear that financially it would make sense to only have one chassis supplier for the league due to the cost factor. It is more cost effective if one supplier supplies the whole league to get the best price.
Where does this leave Dallera. the current supplier? What of the direction of going to multiple engine suppliers? Stay tuned for more information.
